Dear Kind Human Being,
Happy Friday! Thank you for your patience as I upload this week’s love letter 2 days late. It is a 3-day work week here in Australia (due to the public holidays), so my work days were very cramped, and I felt too exhausted to create an episode. Butttt today is a public holiday, I finally had the time and energy to create this:)
Today’s love letter is inspired by a few days ago, when I felt a panic attack coming during a run, but was able to self-soothe before it became a full-blown attack. This was a HUGE milestone for me, and so I wanted to share the techniques that worked for me with you guys <3
In this love letter, we:
🌟 Clench our muscles to reset our nervous system
🌟 Practice mindfulness with our surroundings
🌟 Breathe correctly to calm our body and mind
🌟 Shift our perspective on how we view panic attacks
I hope you enjoy the calming music + rain sounds playing in the background as I speak.
Here is some music to help you feel calm:
(This is where the calming background music and my podcast jingle come from^^)
I also recommend these apps for meditation and relaxing music:

I hope you have a wonderful weekend ahead <3
Love,
Your Favourite Scientist
